Bank Donates $2,500 to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley
Barrington Bank & Trust presented the gift of $2,500 to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley on Wednesday, June 16. The following Saturday, Barrington Bank & Trust employees joined together with experienced volunteer builders from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at one of their construction sites for a “Build Day.” They worked on the inside framing of the home and began the foundation for a new shed, resulting in a very enriching experience for all. Transaction Account Guarantee Program Notice
Barrington Bank & Trust is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
